From responses to the always-asked <em>tell us about yourself<\/em>, to the rarely-asked <em>where do you see yourself in the next five years<\/em>, job applicants do all sorts of research to ensure they answer these common interview questions as best as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But only very few do their research on another aspect of a job interview that is as important \u2013 the part where tables are turned, and you temporarily become the interviewer (but not really). This is the point where the interviewers allow you to ask them questions too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this article, I will share some top intelligent questions you should ask your interviewer after your next job interview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Think about it, how many times have you gone for an interview and you\u2019re told something like <em>do you have any question for us<\/em> or <em>what will you like to ask us?<\/em> Several times, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A lot of job applicants make the mistake of responding with something in the line of <em>I don\u2019t have any question, you\u2019ve said it all<\/em>. Just don\u2019t ask any question after your interview and your interviewer will get the message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The easiest way to make your interviewer know you\u2019re no longer interested in the job or the company is by not asking any questions after your interview. Some of these questions seem harmless, but hey, they may cost you that job. Here you go<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>So, did I get the job?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lol, you need to calm down. First of all, even your interviewers may not have an answer to that just yet. Remember, you\u2019re not the only candidate being interviewed for the role so they may not have arrived at a decision just after talking to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Secondly, you don\u2019t want to seem too desperate. That\u2019s a red flag for most employers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>What do you guys do?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wait, what? You went for a job interview in a company, and you don\u2019t know what they do?&nbsp;<em>O wrong nau<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This, as I mentioned earlier, would suggest you have not done your homework, so take it off your list of questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>If I get the job, can I change my schedule?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At least, wait till you get the job first before asking this question. Putting up a question like this while you are still being interviewed may not go down well with some interviewers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To them, it may be a sign that you\u2019d be the problematic type.
